The Burning of Liar's Hand

The southeastern reaches of the Island, particularly concerning Cinnia and Errothar, have recently been restless at the arrival of a new threat to the isle. A guild location of Liar's Hand, the Thieves' Guild of this half of the isle, was burnt to ashes. This location, the Liar's Hand location of Darkport, was set ablaze on the 30th of November, year 744 of the Age of Myth.

On this night, at approximately 11:30 PM, this fire was started by a mysterious man wearing a large, black coat. He fled the scene quickly, with the special merchandise that on hand, the merchandise of a secretive invite-only auction. Needless to say, this man was not invited to the auction to begin with. He was confronted by several members of the guild as he fled the scene, many of which, he killed.

When a battle ensued, the man drew two longswords from his belt, and began to wage combat against the guild members. His fighting style seemed to consist of circling as many opponents as possible, using his two longswords to attack and defend against multiple opponents simultaneously. 6 men were killed by his swords that day. When he was inevitably surrounded, the sound of cannonfire rang out through the night, as a vessel in the bay manage to take out several more. At the sound of this, the man ran towards the shore, the special merchandise with him. Several ropes were let down from the vessel, as the man managed to climb inside. He then managed to escape unharmed.

The man fled across the sea in the dead of night, his massive vessel bearing an emblem of a dragon with deep blue eyes. If you see this emblem on a sail, please report it to the local authorities, or an operative of Errothar immediately. This man, and all who collude with him should be always considered extremely dangerous. This "Dragon Pirate" as he's being called, is a threat to the entire southeast of the island, and is potentially at large in other portions of the isle by now. Watch carefully for this man if travelling by sea, or in any port cities of the south. A reward of 7,500 silver pieces will be issued to the first to bring this man to justice, dead or alive.
